Atasha Muhlach was only able to get her hands on her very own cellphone when she turned 17 years old.

Speaking to Iza Calzado during Women Summit 2024the 22-year-old media personality was asked about how she is using social media to her advantage, to which she admitted that she is still trying to get the hang of these online platforms.

"I'm still learning the ropes of using social media because I was only given a phone at the age of 17," Atasha revealed.

Surprised by this, Iza asked her if she hadn't been given at least a keypad phone such as a Nokia when she was younger.

"No, so it was always the landline of the house growing up, and it was very old-school living. We weren't really given access to social media, that's why I'm still learning the process of it," Atasha said.

Now, she is impressed by the current generation on their use of social media to benefit and improve their lives.

"Like in the lockdown, so many people started opening up small businesses, identifying their own identities, their individuality, and not only that but they’re able to express their desires and anything they’d like," she highlighted.

Atasha is the daughter of celebrity couple Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez. Back in July last year, she decided to follow in her parents' footsteps in the showbiz industry when she became a talent for Viva Artists Agency, which has stars like Anne Curtis, Sarah Geronimo, Julia Barretto, and Bela Padilla in its talent roster.

In an interview with a separate publication, Atasha said she is open to joining pageantry and the entertainment industry in the future. If she were an actress, she shared she would love to take part in a remake of 2022 film Kailangan Kita, which stars her dad alongside Claudine Barretto.

Apart from her budding career in showbiz, she also graduated with business honors at Nottingham Trent University.
