‘Confession Couple’ actress Jang Nara is getting married to her non-celebrity boyfriend
Jang Nara is tying the knot with the love of her life.
Per a report from Maeil Business Newspaper, Nara announced on her official website that she’s getting married to her non-celebrity who’s six years her junior.
“After two years of dating a friend six years my junior who is in video work, we have promised to become each other’s companion for life. I fell in love with his beautiful smile, kind and genuine heart, and the way he’s overflowing with sincerity and pours his whole heart into his work,” Nara said.
Nara revealed that getting married to “such an amazing person” makes her “so happy.” “We will live joyfully, happily, and well [together].”
“I am truly sorry for the fact that I’m not able to share more about my fiancé out of worry that he—who is not a celebrity—might face discomfort at work because of me,” she added.
The singer-turned-actress thanked her fans for their support since her debut.
“So much time has passed since then. I sincerely thank you for embracing me, supporting me, and always looking kindly upon me for a long time,” Nara said.
She also announced that she’s set to star in a “fun new project” after the wedding. She, however, has yet to reveal additional details.
Nara first debuted as a singer with the album First Story in May 2001.
After earning success as a soloist, Nara made her acting debut in the Korean sitcom New Nonstop. She eventually landed her first lead role in the 2002 K-drama Successful Story of a Bright Girl.
