Cherie Gil's daughter Bianca Rogoff rebukes netizens calling her out for being in a party days after her mother's death
Bianca Rogoff, the unica hija of the late Cherie Gil, has rebuked netizens calling her out for being at a party days after her mother's demise.
On Monday, Aug. 15, Bianca shared an Instagram Story that appears to be taken on a beach filled with people. The following day, the New York-based actress uploaded another post, showing her conversation with an unidentified netizen.
The user asked, "Your mom just passed away and your in a party now?"
"Absolutely," Bianca unabashedly replied. "Life is sacred and should be valued and honored, and most importantly, lived. And if you knew her, she'd be the first one to tell anyone to live their life adventurously and joyfully."
The 27-year-old noted that although she is grieving, she is not compelled to show others what she is going through. "I love my mother and am allowed to grieve as publicly or as privately as I wish. I am not here to perform for those who chose to follow me."
She went on, saying that anyone is free to unfollow her account, while she continues "enjoying the life" her mother have given her.
Bianca added that this would be her "overall statement" to all those sending messages about the matter to her inbox.
Bianca and her brother Rapahel are Cherie's children with her husband Rony Rogoff. Cherie's other child, Jay Gil, was from her previous marriage with actor Leo Martinez.
The 59-year-old actress passed away on August 5 after her year-long battle with endometrial cancer.
