Bianca Manalo breaks silence on cheating rumors with Rob Gomez
Bianca Manalo has spoken up about her leaked conversations with Rob Gomez that implied they were planning to meet up in secret.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Dec. 22, the beauty queen and actress stressed that she and Rob are just “friends and co-workers.”
“He was going to bring Christmas gifts and I wanted to receive them early before I leave for the airport,” she said.
Bianca expressed how “upsetting” it is that their messages got leaked without her consent, calling it a “breach of privacy” and the “cause of so much online bashing.”
She also noted that it’s obvious that parts of their conversation were deleted “to create malicious insinuations.”
“To be honest, this unfounded accusation is hurting me and my loved ones,” Bianca opened up. “Let this controversy end so I can enjoy the rest of my time in Japan with my family.”
To conclude her statement, the TV personality encouraged everyone to “spread love and the truth this holiday season.”
This comes two days after screenshots of her Instagram and Telegram messages for Rob were posted on the actor’s social media pages, which implied that they planned to hang out in secret.
“You didn’t reply on Telegram. Meron ka na naman na pick-up na ibang girl noh,” the Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2009 titleholder's message for Rob read.
In another conversation, Manalo’s text read, “Kaya mo pumunta that early? 7 am? Brought my dogs here sa Makati. Let me know para I can go back to BGC early to see you before I leave at 10 am.”
“He’s not here. He’s in Valenzuela,” she added.
Bianca has been in a longtime relationship with Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian. The two became tight-lipped about their romance until November 2019, when they celebrated their first anniversary together.
Rob shares an eight-month-old daughter named Amelia with beauty queen Shaila Rebortera, who, in August this year, accused him of physically and verbally abusing her. She has since separated from the actor and has been living with their daughter.
Aside from Bianca, screenshots of Rob having an alleged affair with Herlene Budol also went viral online. The messages also implied they were expecting a baby, which Herlene recently addressed on X.
"Showbiz nga talaga! Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho, gagawan ka ng issue! Dati asa #wowowin gumawa ng issue na buntis daw ako. Ngayon naman sa #MagandangDilag may issue uli na buntis ako uli? Ano susunod? Sa #BlackRider mabubuntis ako uli?" she wrote in a post. She, however, kept mum about the cheating rumors.
Bianca, Herlene, and Rob are co-stars in GMA 7 series Magandang Dilag.
