BTS’ agency HYBE makes it to TIME’s 100 most influential companies list for two consecutive years
BTS’ agency HYBE Corporation is one of TIME’s 100 most influential companies for the second time in a row.
TIME magazine released its annual influential companies list on Wednesday, March 30, where companies like Amazon, Pfizer, Kaling International, and Green Mountain Power are included.
The high-profile feature comes with three digital covers, with one of them featuring BTS with HYBE and Big Hit Music founder Bang Si-hyuk who’s known as “Hitman Bang” among fans.
HYBE is described as a South Korean entertainment company that’s “reinventing the music business—with a little help from BTS.”

Established in 2005, the company is currently valued at $9.5 billion (approximately P491 billion).
Si-hyuk said in an exclusive TIME interview that HYBE has “always been ambitious—to the point of being presumptuous.” “Our vision is to become the world’s leading entertainment lifestyle platform with music as our foundation,” he added.
HYBE was originally established as Big Hit Entertainment which currently runs as a record label, music production company, and talent agency, among others.
Aside from HYBE HQ, HYBE has multiple subsidiaries with Korean entertainment companies known as HYBE Labels. It includes agencies such as Big Hit Music, Belift Lab, Source Music, Pledis Entertainment, and KOZ Entertainment.
The entertainment company is home to Korean music acts including BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), Enhypen, Seventeen, Fromis_9, and its upcoming girl group LE SSERAFIM, among others.
