LOOK: Albie Casiño is now a dad
Ahead of Father's Day—and amid weeks of speculation—actor Albie Casiño announced that he's already a dad.
Casiño on Instagram shared a video of him at the airport being welcomed by his non-showbiz partner Michelina and their baby. He then hugs and kisses her before carrying their baby and kissing him on the forehead.
"A great man told me 'being a dad has no days off and retirement,'" Casiño said in the caption. "I wouldn’t have it any other way."
"I finally got to meet my son. Hello Roman Andrew the world is yours little man," he added.
Hours after that, the 31-year-old actor also shared a photo of him sleeping on the sofa with the baby.
In a separate post, Michelina shared a reel documenting her pregnancy journey.
"The first day of your life, was the best day of mine," she said, followed by the hashtags #RomanAndrewCasiño, #April28, and #2024, which suggest the baby's birthday.
Casiño's showbiz colleagues gave their love in the comments section of his post. They include Darren Espanto, Agot Isidro, Ruffa Gutierrez, Kaila Estrada, Chie Filomeno, Alexa Ilacad, Denise Laurel, Rita Daniela, Rodjun Cruz, Samantha Bernardo, Diego Loyzaga, Richard Juan, JC Alcantara, Jai Agpangan, Pat Sugui, and Nikko Natividad.
"WE CAN FINALLY TALK ABOUT IT PUBLICLY HAHAHA," Espanto said.
"[N]ot a secret anymore," Gutierrez said.
Casiño rose to fame for his role in the 2010 remake of the teleserye Mara Clara. He also appeared in On the Wings of Love, Pusong Ligaw, Los Bastardos, Linlang, and Can’t Buy Me Love.
He also joined the reality television show Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition in 2021.
