Sandara Park is heading back to the Philippines for a music festival together with K-pop groups AB6IX, VIVIZ, YOUNITE, 1MILLION, and MB Crew in Cebu City.

In a Facebook post on Aug. 15, local event organizer MARK Entertainment and Events announced that the show “AWAKE: A New Beginning” will be held on Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the City di Mare Events Grounds in Cebu City.

It's not all the time that a K-pop concert is held in the Central Visayas region. That is why, this upcoming event is one that Cebuanos, or any K-pop fan around the country, is probably one worth making time for.

Those who will avail of the event's early bird promo from Aug. 18 to 20 will get a discount of 10% on their tickets. They are available for purchase at the any SM Ticket outlet or on the website themarkprod.com.

Sandara is best known for being a member of the K-pop group 2NE1, which was famous for thehit songs I Don't Care, Fire, and I Hate You, among others. In the Philippines, Sandara rose to fame as the "Pambansang krung-krung" when she joined ABS-CBN's talent show Star Circle Quest in 2004. She was in the country last July to perform the last act for "The Super Stage by K-pop in Manila" concert together with big K-pop groups MAMAMOO+, KEP1ER, and LAPILLUS.
