Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson call it quits
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are no more.
According to E! News, sources close to the former couple “exclusively” told the entertainment site that they have ended their romance after nine months of being together, “and decided to just be friends.”
The ex-lovers tried to keep the flame alive while Pete was in Australia for a movie. “When they are apart, they are in constant communication. Kim loves that he’s always making her laugh and he truly makes her day when they talk.”
Long distance and hectic days, however, continued to make it “really difficult to maintain a relationship.” But the insider said they still have “a lot of love and respect for each other.”
Pete and Kim sparked dating rumors in October after being spotted holding hands in different locations. In February, the comedian publicly referred to Kim as his “girlfriend” for the very first time.
In The Kardashians, Kim revealed she made the first move on Pete. “I did SNL (Saturday Night Live), and then when we kissed in a scene, it was just a vibe. And I was like, ‘Oh, sh*t. Maybe I just need to try something different!” She later called the SNL producer to ask for Pete’s number. “I heard about this BDE [big d**ck energy]. I need to get out there, I need to just, like, jumpstart my… I was just basically DTF.”
Now single, Kim is co-parenting her children—North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint—with ex-husband Kanye West.
