NewJeans, Le Sserafim coming to the Philippines for 2023 Asia Artist Awards

Good news, Filo Hallyu fans!

NewJeans and Le Sserafim will be flying to the Philippines as they are revealed to be one of the K-pop artists who will be attending the 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) in the country.

The two Korean girl groups have been confirmed to be attending this year's AAA, according to a report by Korean media outlet StarNews, which was also shared by Pulp Live World's Chief Operating Officer Happee Sy-Go on X (formerly Twitter).

Their fellow girl group NMIXX and boy bands BOYNEXTDOOR and Zerobaseone will also be present in the annual ceremony.

NewJeans and Le Sserafim made waves at last year's AAA after they received the distinction of winning Performance of the Year and Best Musician respectively. Both of them were also given the Rookie of the Year award in the music category.

The eighth edition of the awards ceremony will take place at the Philippine Arena on Dec. 14. This would mark the first time that the country will host one of South Korea’s biggest awards shows.

Established in 2016, AAA has recognized the excellence of K-pop stars BTS and EXO, as well as actors Im Yoon-ah, Park Bo-gum, and Lee Seung-gi, among others.
