LE SSERAFIM makes fierce comeback with 1st full album 'Unforgiven'
The wait is over, Fearnot! LE SSERAFIM is back and spunkier than ever with their first full album, UNFORGIVEN.
The South Korean-Japanese girl group released their first EP, along with the fierce and funky music video for the title track of the same name, on May 1—a day before the group's first anniversary.
UNFORGIVEN is a hip-hop dance song with lyrics that, according to local media outlet Soompi, reflect the K-pop girl group's attitude of being fearless in breaking boundaries and prejudices.
It also features American record producer Nile Rodgers and samples the soundtrack of the 1966 Western film The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
LE SSERAFIM's record label, Source Music, began accepting pre-orders for the album on April 3 and reported on April 29 that it has already surpassed 1.38 copies as of April 28. Physical copies of the album are slated for rollout on May 2.
Announced last March, LE SSERAFIM's comeback comes eight months after the group released their second mini album Antifragile on Oct. 17, 2022.
The five-piece girl group debuted in May 2022 with six members: Yun-jin Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae, and Kim Ga-ram. The last, however, left the group in July 2022.
They are known for their hit songs Antifragile, Fearless, Sour Grapes, and Blue Flame, among others.
