LOOK: Chelsea Manalo reunites with Miss Universe queens Margie Moran, Gloria Diaz
Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo recently met Filipina Miss Universe titleholders Gloria Diaz and Margie Moran.
On June 23, MUPH shared photos of the three queens together.
“LEGENDS. Miss Universe Philippines 2024 CHELSEA MANALO is beyond happy to be reunited with legendary beauty queens and her personal idols Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1969, and Margie Moran, Miss Universe 1973,” they wrote in the caption.
The three met anew at the launch of the newest phase of the Pasig Rehabilitation Urban Development Project (PRUDP), which was also graced by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr and First Lady Liza Marcos, and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.
Prior to this, Chelsea had met Margie on June 10 during the inauguration of the Philippine Tourism Information Center in Intramuros, and Gloria during the Parada ng Kalayaan at the Quirino Grandstand on Independence Day, June 12.
Chelsea bested 52 other candidates during the grand coronation night and was crowned by MUPH 2023 Michelle Dee. She is vying for the country’s fifth crown at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico.
In addition to Gloria and Margie, the Philippines has two other Miss Universe winners including Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.
