Gypsy Rose Blanchard announced that she's expecting her first child—months after her release from prison.

The 32-year-old announced that she's going to be a mom in a vlog posted on her YouTube channel, where she expressed her excitement over this new milestone in her life. According to her, she's 11 weeks pregnant with her ex-fiance Ken Urker, with whom she recently rekindled her romance.

"We're both very excited. This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected, but we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood," she said.

While she's been dealing with mood swings, fatigue, and an intense craving for orange juice, she said has not had any severe morning sickness.

"So far, pregnancy has been a breeze as far as symptoms. I find the tiredness is starting to wear off a little bit. That was the biggest symptom that I had, I am always tired and sleepy."

"The baby looks healthy, happy. I know it's still going to be a long journey ahead but I'm up for it," she continued.

In an Instagram post, the social media personality shared a collage photo of her and Ken showing a sonogram and a baby jacket.

"We are proud to announce we are expecting our first child in January 2025," she captioned the post.

Gypsy and her then-husband Ryan Anderson got separated in March this year. She recently got back together with Ken, to whom he was engaged in 2019 but called it off four months later.

She served seven years of her original 10-year sentence for plotting the murder of her mother, who subjected her to multiple and “painful” medical procedures for made-up illnesses and treating her like a “prisoner.”

In 2015, Gypsy urged her ex, Nicholas Godejohn, to kill her mother, Claudine Blanchard.

Her case became a sensation and has been adapted into multiple television series and documentaries, including HBO’s 2017 documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest, Hulu’s miniseries The Act, and an upcoming docuseries, The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.

Gypsy was released from prison in December after being granted parole in September.
