Beauty influencer Farah El Kadhi passes away at 36 after suspected heart attack

Gone too soon: Social media influencer Farah El Kadhi died at 36 from a suspected heart attack.

Multiple media outlets, including PEOPLE Magazine, The Times of Malta, and Malta Today, reported that she was on a vacation in Malta when she went into cardiac arrest.

Soulayma Hneynia, who is also an influencer, confirmed Kadhi's death in an Instagram story. According to her, Farah died "peacefully in her sleep."

She described Farah as a "truly wonderful person" who was "known for her kindness, generosity, and warmth."

"Her positive spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her," she continued.

A representative of Malta police confirmed in a statement sent to PEOPLE Magazine on Friday, June 21 that "a 36-year-old Tunisian female was certified dead at Mater Dei Hospital" earlier this week. They refused to disclose additional details as an investigation on the case is still ongoing.

Farah was known as a beauty influencer with over a million followers on her Instagram page. She also promoted her fashion brand, Bazar by Faf, on social media.
