MrBeast is giving away 26 Teslas for his 26th birthday

YouTube star MrBeast is celebrating his 26th birthday by giving away 26 Teslas to his followers across the globe. 

On his Instagram post on Wednesday, May 8, MrBeast shared a photo of himself holding a birthday cake with 26 Teslas in the background. 

“It’s my 26th birthday, so I am giving away 26 Teslas to my followers!” he wrote in the caption. 

He encouraged his followers to try their luck by simply liking and commenting to tag two friends in the same post. He also noted that participants must be following his account so he can reach out to them in case they win.

According to the rules, eligible participants are residents who are of legal age in the United States (including D.C, but excluding NY and FL), Australia, Canada, Chile, metropolitan France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.

Participants can join the giveaway until Friday, May 10. Note that you can only comment once and additional entries will be disqualified. 

Twenty six winners will be selected by random draw on or about May 11. Potential winners will be notified via Instagram direct message or in the comments section of the post within three days after the raffle draw.  

One lucky winner will bring home a grand prize of a 2024 Tesla Cybertruck ($120,000 or nearly P7 million) while each of the 25 winners will win one Tesla Model 3 ($39,000 or P2.2 million). Winners will have the option to accept the vehicle or the equivalent cash prize. See the full terms and conditions here.  

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is famous for giving away millions of dollars to strangers. Last year, he celebrated his birthday by giving away a whopping cash of $50,000 (P2.78 million) to his lucky followers. 

He also gained prominence for his content revolving around expensive stunts, such as recreating the popular South Korean survival series Squid Game sans the deaths. He likewise made headlines when he helped 1,000 blind people get cataract surgeries.  

He currently has a total of 256 million YouTube subscribers as of writing.
