McCoy de Leon confirms split with Elisse Joson in now-deleted Instagram stories • PhilSTAR Life

McCoy de Leon has finally broken his silence about his rumored breakup with his girlfriend Elisse Joson, with whom he shares a daughter with, as he confirmed his split with her in a series of now-deleted Instagram stories.

This comes as the actor recently published a cryptic post addressed to his daughter Felize amid the rocky relationship rumors plaguing the couple.

Writing that he will always love and cherish Felize, de Leon then emphasized, "Sana pag tanda mo, 'wag magbago tingin kay daddy ha[.] Pasensya na kung hindi lang talaga nakaya ni daddy. Sana maikwento ko sa'yo pagtanda mo. Don't worry, masasaya naman iku-kwento ko na may konting problem hehe para naman maintindihan mo si daddy."

In screenshots captured by Pilipino Star Ngayon, de Leon opened the revelation of his split with Joson by apologizing to his followers before addressing the accusations made against him that he had an illicit affair with a TikTok influencer.

"Sorry po, pasensya na po sa inyong lahat. Hindi po totoo yung mga convo na kumakalat. Hindi po ako yun, pasensya na po ulit," the Deleter star wrote.

He then cleared up once and for all his relationship status with Joson, confirming rumors that they have now, in fact, broken up, "Wala pong involved na ibang tao [sa] pinaka-rason kaya kami naghiwalay. Sana maniwala po kayo," he wrote.

He went on, "Hindi ko po intensyon manakit ng tao o manloko. Sadyang dumating lang po sa point na sobrang bigat ng problema kaya po ako sumuko."

Prior to this revelation, Nikko Natividad, de Leon's former co-member from #Hashtags, seemed to have trolled Joson as he posted a hilarious picture of himself recreating a certain look of the actress with the caption, "Mare, shot puno."

The couple's romance first bloomed when their paths crossed in 2016 after joining Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7. They broke things off temporarily in 2019 before reconciling in 2021. This was also the year where they welcomed their one-year-old daughter Felize, who was born on April.
