Taylor Swift, Matty Healy not dating again: 'She is enjoying being single'—report
Seems like Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are not back together, despite reports.
Sources close to the artists have told PEOPLE that the two musicians are not dating again, contrary to the report that was published on July 5.
"They are absolutely not together and aren't even in contact anymore,” said a source close to Taylor, stressing that the All Too Well singer currently enjoys being single.
“She is enjoying being single and has been spending time in the studio and hanging out with friends in New York City. This is all B.S.," the source added.
Meanwhile, this was echoed by an informant close to the British lead vocalist, saying the rumor is “complete nonsense.”
"Not true at all,” it said.
Matty and Taylor were rumored to be dating after the latter's break up with Joe Alwyn. The two never directly confirmed the news, but they were spotted together multiple times and were seen gesturing sweet cryptic messages to each other.
Early in June, Entertainment Tonight reported that the two have broken up due to their conflict in schedules and after realizing that “they’re not really compatible with each other.”
A source from PEOPLE also said that the brief romance “was always casual.”
Matty is the frontman of the British pop rock band The 1975 and is currently on their "At Their Very Best" world tour. Taylor, on the other hand, is currently in the US for her "The Eras Tour" and is set to tour Europe and Asia in 2024.
