It’s official: ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime variety show “ASAP Natin ‘To” will air on TV5 starting Sunday, Jan. 24.

This was announced via a statement released by ABS-CBN on Thursday, Jan. 21.

Aside from “ASAP Natin ‘To,” ABS-CBN’s movie block showing the films of Fernando Poe Jr., “FPJ: Da King,” will also be seen on TV5.

“ASAP Natin ‘To” and “FPJ: Da King” will air simultaneously on TV5 and ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Channel and A2Z.

“This collaboration between CIGNAL, TV5, Brightlight Productions, and ABS-CBN marks the start of greater cooperation among our various industry players and begins a new era of partnership,” Cignal and TV5 CEO Robert Galang said in the statement. “The airing of ASAP and FPJ’s movies on TV5 showcases the desires of TV5 and ABS-CBN to serve our viewers in the best way possible.”

Earlier this week, entertainment news site PEP.ph reported about the simultaneous airing of “ASAP Natin ‘To” on TV5 and ABS-CBN’s broadcast channels.

The Philippine Star also reported that a partnership between TV5-Cignal and ABS-CBN is in the works.

Before this, TV5’s own Sunday noontime show—"Sunday Noontime Live," produced by blocktimer Brightlight Productions—aired its last episode on Jan. 17.
