The Weasley Twins are back to cook up double toil and trouble!

James and Oliver Phelps, who starred as Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films, made a surprise appearance at Max's launch in Bonifacio Global City on Nov. 19. In addition to celebrating the new streaming service, the twins gave a glimpse at their upcoming food show Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, in which they'll serve as hosts.

"Oliver and I are lucky as the hosts of the show and it’s 18 of the best culinary chefs in the world… They’re sorted into groups so there are nine teams. Every week they are whittled down to the wizards of baking," James said.

The Harry Potter star added that they even shot at the actual sets that the popular franchise filmed on in London. "It's the first time a series has been filmed on these locations," he said.

The new series will see each team create magical masterpieces and showstopping bakes. Some of the locations they'll revisit include The Great Hall, Platform 9 3/4, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, and the Burrow, according to Deadline.

Some special guests will also be making an appearance, as James teased: "We have a couple of alumni from Potter coming to join us as well in some episodes."

As it's the twins' first time in the country, they told the BGC crowd that they've tried out local food like chicken adobo and sisig.

“Oliver and I have never been to the Philippines before and when [we were invited], we jumped at the chance because one of the contestants in the show, Miko, is actually from the Philippines. He told us about how welcoming everybody is being here. We’re having a great time,” James said.

The HP nostalgia

While the final Harry Potter film came out in 2011, some of the cast members, including James and Oliver, reunited for the franchise's 20th anniversary TV special.

Since then, Oliver said that they still bond every now and then with their fellow wizards and witches.

"We keep in touch with some of the guys actually, just to go to watch soccer, to the pub to have a drink, or to just catch up whenever we’re in the same town as each other," he shared.

"These guys who we filmed with in our formative years[—we] kinda like the same relationship that some of you guys have with people you went to school or university with. That’s our education literally, at Hogwarts," Oliver added.

Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking is now streaming on Max.
