Flagship features for less: The stylish Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is now up for pre-order
Samsung kicks off the year with a new smartphone release: the Galaxy S21 FE 5G, which boasts flagship features that fans loved from the original S21 phones at a lower, mid-range price.
The new Fan Edition phone sports a stylish contour-cut frame with a matte back panel that seamlessly blends into the camera bump. The device comes in four fashionable color options of Olive, Lavender, White, and Graphite.
Compared to the S21, the S21 FE has a slightly bigger 6.4-inch AMOLED display with the same 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is interrupted by the 32MP punch-hole selfie camera.
As for its rear cameras, the Fan Edition model downgrades to a 12MP main shooter, 12MP ultrawide lens, and 8MP telephoto camera. However, Samsung claims the new phone includes an improved Night Mode compared to last year's S20 FE.
The S21 FE's other specs include an Exynos 2100 processor, either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, either 128 or 256GB of storage, 5G support, and a 4,500mAh battery. It also runs on OneUI 4 or Android 12 out of the box.
The Galaxy S21 5G starts at P38,990 and is available for pre-order until Jan. 10 on Samsung's website. Those who pre-order will get a free Galaxy Buds Live worth P7,990 with their purchase.
