Logitech taps Versatech Intl. as official distributor for video collab tools

Published Oct 19, 2020 9:09 am

Professional audio and video solutions provider Logitech has tapped Versatech International to become the official distributor of its latest line of video and conferencing room solutions.

With this collaboration, the local market will have greater access to Logitech’s video collaboration line, including professional conference cameras, webcams, and accessories for audio and video conferencing.

The brand partnership aims to meet the market’s growing demand for professional business conferencing solutions and streamline delivery services for personal workspace and industries such as corporate, government, education, entertainment, broadcast, hospitality, and BPO sectors.

Expanding reach through partnerships

Tracing its roots from Lamco International, Versatech has been a B2B ICT distributor for over 40 years. With the new deal with Logitech, the distributor’s wide-ranging brand portfolio has further expanded.

“This partnership with Logitech is a great opportunity to build value for our customers, and I am anticipating a positive reception as we introduce their state-of-the-art collaboration systems that will certainly enhance our customers’ productivity,” explains Versatech International EVP Stephen Yu.

“Customer success through a partnership is what defines Versatech International. Bringing together the world’s premier brands in unified communication and collaboration creates a multitude of possibilities to deliver more value to our customers. Logitech is at the forefront of solutions that address the need for remote working environments by developing systems that enable businesses to seamlessly connect with their customers through cloud, social, and Internet-of-Things (IoT) technologies. Together, we have an opportunity to fundamentally change how people work,” adds Yu.

Enhanced video conferencing experience

Apart from the partnership, Logitech has also released two new pro audio models for 2020.

Swytch.

First up is the Swytch, a one-cable link that enables laptops to connect to a room’s audiovisual (AV) equipment and run any video meeting or webinar. It’s a BYOM (bring your own meeting) laptop link for video conferencing in meeting rooms, linking a Windows 10 laptop, MacBook, or Chromebook to the room’s AV equipment with a single USB Type-A or C connection.

Zone Wired Headset.

Meanwhile, the Zone Wired Headset is a universal serial bus (USB) headset for busy workspaces with premium audio drivers and advanced noise-canceling mic technology. Zone Wired works with common calling applications across almost all platforms and operating systems. Its noise-canceling dual-mic technology accurately suppresses distracting sounds like keyboard clicks and nearby voices as close as 60-centimeters away.

Logitech video collaboration conference

Video conferences have become part of the new normal in 2020. Recognizing this trend, Versatech International successfully held the ‘Logitech Video Collaboration Conference’ webinar last Sept. 11, via Microsoft Teams.

Hosted by Versatech Marketing VP Jessa Camille Dasas, the hour-long online session tackled building up business resilience during COVID-19 with resellers and end-users. Afterwards, Versatech’s Marketing team and Logitech principals answered queries during a Q&A focused on up-and-coming technology trends.
