K-drama fans, rejoice! Lee Jongsuk and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona are set to be the leads of the upcoming series Big Mouth.

As per Soompi, Big Mouth tells the story of third-rate lawyer Park Changho (Lee Jongsuk) who transforms into a genius conman after his involvement in a murder case. Meanwhile, Changho’s wife Go Miho (Yoona) is a nurse who’s determined to clear his name from false accusations.

However, we need to wait a little longer since the noir series is set to premiere in 2022. So, as we wait for Big Mouth, make sure to stream these K-dramas starring the two leads:

W: Two Worlds (2016)

An alternate universe, eye-catching cinematography, and heart-fluttering chemistry between the two leads—these words describe W: Two Worlds perfectly. Jongsuk plays the role of a charismatic co-CEO, who happens to be the lead character of a popular comic series W

The handsome actor shows off his range as someone who’s caught between two alternate worlds really well. Of course, it’s not a Lee Jongsuk K-drama without his famous “higop” kissing scenes.

Love Rain (2012)

If you’re in the mood to hurt yourself for no reason, perhaps Love Rain is the perfect K-drama for you. The melodrama tells of a love story over two generations: college sweethearts in the 1970s and 20-somethings in the present era.

Yoona shines in her dual roles as shy Kim Yoonhee and energetic Jung Hana. It’s one of the series that proves her acting abilities apart from being a K-pop idol. Another noteworthy factor is her beautiful face that radiates throughout the screen.

Pinocchio (2014)

Don’t call yourself a Lee Jongsuk fan if don’t know this classic K-drama. The heartwarming series starring Jongsuk and Park Shinhye is about rookie reporters working in rival networks. The journalists have been besties since their childhood who have feelings for one another.

Jongsuk’s role as Dalpo and Hamyung are unforgettable for K-drama fans since he combines charm and skill effortlessly.

Hush (2020)

If you’re doubtful about Yoona’s acting skills, this slice-of-life series might change your mind. Hush is another K-drama that centers around the newsroom, with the actress as an intern for a veteran journalist.

Yoona’s character was a surprise since it’s different from her previous optimistic roles. She portrays the determined news intern so well, that we can’t help but support her quest to uncover the truth behind an article that leads to her father's suicide.

While You Were Sleeping (2017)

There’s something about Jongsuk’s taste in picking K-dramas since they always turn out to be a hit. The legal drama-fantasy series While You Were Sleeping is no exception.

Jongsuk’s character as rookie prosecutor Jung Jaechan is not charming on paper, but he manages to steal fans’ hearts. However, this is one of his unforgettable roles since he shows off his acting chops.
