Studio Ghibli Park in Japan opens this November—here are the ticket prices
The Studio Ghibli Park in Japan will finally be opening in November, and in preparation for its grand unveiling, admission tickets are already available for purchase online.
Located in the Aichi Earth Expo Memorial Park, the Ghibli Park is opening its doors on November 1, bringing to life the worlds of My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, and more.
At approximately 17.5 acres, the theme park features three open areas: Ghibli's Big Warehouse, Youth Hill, and Dondoko Forest. Two other areas, Witch Valley and Mononoke’s Village will open in 2024.

Tickets for each area vary in price for adults and kids and depending on weekends and holidays. Check out the prices below:
Ghibli's Great Warehouse
- ¥2,000 (~P830) for adults on weekdays
- ¥1,000 (~P420) for kids on weekdays
- ¥2,500 (~P1,000) for adults on weekends and holidays
- ¥1,250 (P~520) for kids on weekends and holidays
Youth Hill
- ¥1,000 (~P420) for adults
- ¥500 (~P210) for kids
Dondoko Forest
- ¥1,000 (~P420) for adults
- ¥500 (~P210) for kids
Ghibli Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.on public holidays and weekends. It's closed on Tuesdays unless it's a holiday. Purchase your tickets here.
Japan currently does not accept independent foreign travelers, but international tourists who are traveling as part of a group on a guided package tour which they booked through a travel agency are already welcome in the country.
