'Stranger Things' writers room officially begins work on season 5
Heads up, Strangers: The end is coming.
The writers of Netflix's phenomenal series Stranger Things have just announced that discussions for the fifth season of the show have officially begun.
The group announced it through a tweet on today, August 3, which shows a photo of a whiteboard with the sketch of Stranger Things' iconic logo with the huge number five at the back. "Day 1," they wrote on the captin, signaling the show is now in the works.

Showrunners
In a post to their fans last February, showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer announced that Stranger Things 5 will end the retro horror-thriller series that began in 2016.
Duffer brothers also revealed in a May interview with Variety that they will begin writing season 5 in the first week of August this year. And because the showrunners said they have the concept mapped out already, it looks like fans don't have to wait too long to see the Hawkins gang back on their screens.
In addition, Matt said in an interview with Collider that they are planning to make season 5 shorter than season 4 and run for just a total of ten hours. However, it would still be longer than the first seasons of the show as they aim to fix the loose ends of the story. He also said that the cliffhanger at the end of Stranger Things 4 contributes to the runtime of the upcoming season.
Stranger Things definitely has kept fans on their toes since the last season, and with the looks of it, there's still plenty more to come, may it be about Vecna's disappearance, Max's survival, or Will's queerness.
