What to watch on Netflix this long weekend

If you are reading this article, then you're either in dire need of some highly-recommended shows or simply got tired of sifting through the wide selection of content on Netflix. Whatever your reason is, we get it. It’s a long weekend (yes, apparently it’s still a thing) and you just can’t decide if you are going to watch a feel good movie, a documentary or a show that you are planning to commit the rest of your weekend with.

Well, look no further. Because we've rounded up some of the best movies and shows that you can stream right now on Netflix. 

High Score 

Synopsis: A documentary series about the golden age of video games, when legends – from Pac-Man to Doom – were brought to life. This is the story of the brains behind the pixels and how their unmatched innovation built a multi-billion dollar industry - almost by accident.

The Midnight Gospel

Synopsis: The Midnight Gospel is the story of Clancy, a spacecaster with a malfunctioning multiverse simulator who leaves the comfort of his extra-dimensional home on the Chromatic Ribbon to interview beings living in other worlds.

Giri / Haji

Synopsis: A Tokyo detective travels to London to look for his long lost younger brother, now believed to be posing as a Yakuza gangster and wanted for the murder of a Japanese businessman. His family’s honour, and the fragile peace between the warring gangs back home, is at stake.

Biohackers

It's Okay To Not Be Okay

Synopsis: An extraordinary road to emotional healing opens up for an antisocial children's book writer and a selfless psych ward caretaker when they cross paths.

Friend Zone

Synopsis: Two best friends who wind up in the ‘Friend Zone’ navigate a series of failed relationships through the years – until sparks finally fly.

Teenage Bounty Hunters

Synopsis: Rebelling against their buttoned-up Southern community, sixteen-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling (Maddie Phillips) and Blair (Anjelica Bette Fellini) Wesley team up with veteran bounty hunter Bowser Jenkins (Kadeem Hardison) for an over-the-top adventure as they dive into the world of bail skipping baddies and suburban secrets while trying to navigate high school drama love, sex, and study hall.

Da 5 Bloods

Wizards: Tales of Arcadia

Synopsis: Merlin’s apprentice joins Arcadia’s heroes on a time-bending adventure in Camelot, where conflict is brewing between the human, troll, and magical worlds. Wizards: Tales of Arcadia is the third and final installment of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy limited series, following Trollhunters and 3Below, created by Guillermo Del Toro.

Addam's Family Values

Synopsis: As the Addams family welcomes Pubert, the new baby boy of the family, they hire a nanny to take care of their newborn after siblings Wednesday and Pugsley’s failed attempt to get rid of the baby. This cult classic fantasy comedy film released in 1993 is a sequel to the 1991 film The Addams Family (also on Netflix).

3% (Season 4)

Synopsis: The Brazilian Dystopian thriller is back for its fourth and final season. In a future where the elite inhabit an island paradise far from the crowded slums, you get one chance to join the 3% saved from squalor. In this dystopian thriller, a gleaming offshore paradise awaits the 3% of the population who can prove they're worthy.
