Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC unite as 'Back-Sync' in new TikTok videos
Our 90s dreams are coming true: Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC together in one place!
The two boy bands put their rivalry aside for a collab we've all been waiting for. Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean shared a TikTok video of him in a room together with fellow band member Nick Carter and *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Lance Bass.
“So this is the video for the rest of our bandmates, I just don’t want anyone to be upset,” McLean says in the video, and starts singing, “I was hangin’ with the fellas, working with a brand-new band, don’t be jealous!” to the tune of *NSYNC's It Makes Me Ill.
He captioned it "New album coming soon!!!! Let's go!!" and called themselves “Back-SYNC.”

As it turns out, the former teen boy bands are together for a special Pride Month celebration called "Bingo Under the Stars" at The Grove Los Angeles, which happens today, June 19.
Carter and McLean shared a clip of the quartet singing BSB's I Want It That Way and *NSYNC's Bye, Bye, Bye.
In an Instagram live video which was hosted by Carter and Bass, the latter talked about the mini concert saying they're "doing it for Pride."
Fatone later on joined in the conversation adding, "It's one of those things where all Pride is really near and dear to our hearts... We all live in the entertainment community where there is a lot of LGBTQ and we embrace that."
