Janine Gutierrez makes her first official appearance as an ABS-CBN artist since her transfer to the Kapamilya network during the Sunday, January 24 episode of the noontime show “ASAP Natin ‘To.”

The 31-year-old actress performed on the Sunday variety show to serve as her welcome to the her home network. She sang “Panaginip” by OPM band Hotdog with Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, and Martin Nievera.

“I am so happy to be here with all of you. Thank you so much for the warm Kapamilya welcome,” Janine said after her performance.

She added, “This is the first time I’ve been inside a studio here. Surreal, parang panaginip talaga. I am just so happy that everything has fallen into place. It’s a new year, new opportunities.”

Janine is set to join “ASAP Natin ’To” as a regular co-host.

Janine officially made her long-rumored move to ABS-CBN official earlier this month, after being with GMA-7 for almost 10 years.

The move surprised fans and showbiz insiders when it was firsr reported last year, as this makes Janine one of the first high-profile names to transfer to ABS-CBN after the network lost its franchise last year.

Her appearance on the show coincided with a major first for the Sunday variety show. It marks the first day the long-running Sunday show is aired simultaneously on ABS-CBN’s broadcast platforms and TV5.
