‘2021 Goals’: AC Bonifacio appears in ‘Riverdale’ season 5 teaser
It looks like 2021 will be an exciting year for AC Bonifacio.
The 18-year-old singer-dancer will appear on the latest season of the US teen drama TV show Riverdale. This is based on the video teaser posted by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the show’s creator, on his Instagram account on Saturday, January 2.
“2021 Goals. Buckle up, Gang,” Sacasa wrote.
The video clip shows AC dancing with Riverdale character Cheryl Blossom, played by actress Madelaine Petsch.
AC also shared the same on her social media accounts. She wrote on her Instagram post: “Here's my page 1/365 submission :) Startin' off the year right w/ a lil sneak peek to #Riverdale Season 5!”

Riverdale, which first aired in 2017, is based on the characters of Archie Comics. Its fifth season will premiere on January 20.
AC’s celebrity friends such as Kyle Echarri and Darren Espanto congratulated the young artist. “I can’t believe it’s finally coming out,” Darren said.
It's not yet revealed what character AC, who is currently based in the United States, will be playing on the show. But a look at her Instagram page reveals she has been giving hints of her Riverdale gig last year.
"We proud of u," Kyle commented on AC's Instagram post of her "on set."
"They don’t know what’s coming," Darren said.
This is not the first time AC, an artist of ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic, is appearing in a US TV show. She performed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2015.
Her dance videos have also gone viral. Her dance cover of K-pop group Blackpink’s “How You Like That” has gotten over five million views since it was uploaded on YouTube in July.
