'Check, check, check': BLACKPINK's Lisa recovers from COVID-19
How you like that? BLACKPINK’s Lisa, or Lalisa Manoban, has recovered from COVID-19.
In a Dec. 4 report by Korean news website Soompi, Lisa’s agency YG Entertainment announced that she has been released from self-quarantine.
“Government health authorities have clinically determined that Lisa, who has been receiving at-home treatment, is no longer at risk of spreading the virus,” Soompi quoted YG Entertainment as saying.
Lisa had tested positive for COVID-19 last Nov. 24. Her co-members Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie, meanwhile, had tested negative the following day.
YG said the three of them didn’t have to undergo quarantine and were only categorized as “candidates for active monitoring” since they’ve been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 over a week ago.
In any case, Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie have been “minimizing outside activities aside from unavoidable scheduled appointments for work purposes,” YG added.
The agency also thanked Blinks, or the quartet’s fans, for their concern.
“We will continue to make the health and safety of our artists and employees our top priority,” YG said. “[W]e will strictly adhere to the instructions of health authorities on preventing the spread of disease.”
Lisa, meanwhile, celebrated her COVID-19 recovery with an Instagram post:
