ASUS unveils Zenbook S 14, a sleek and stylish AI-ready laptop
ASUS Philippines launched its "most advanced AI PC," the Zenbook S14, which features a stylish look and Microsoft Copilot.
Design-wise, the laptop evokes a sleek, premium feel—it's about 1.1cm thin when closed and weighs 1.2kg. The outer cover, which is said to be durable from scratches, adds to the stylish vibe as it comes in Zumaia Gray, inspired by the cliffs in northern Spain.
Opened, the device sports a 14-inch touchscreen OLED display, a geometric grille design above the keyboard for cooling, and Harman Kardon-certified speakers.
The trackpad, meanwhile, matches the screen's aspect ratio and can be controlled with smart gestures—a swipe up and down at the right side controls the brightness and the left side controls system volume.
Despite being an incredibly slim laptop, the Zenbook S 14 is equipped with a full set of ports including two Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Under the hood, the PC is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 (series 2) processor and Intel Arc graphics that are capable of handling AI tasks. There's even a dedicated Microsoft Copilot button on the bottom right part of the keyboard for easy access to the AI.
ICYDK, Copilot is an AI chatbot capable of generating text and images for tasks like writing emails and summaries and creating pictures based on prompts.
The laptop also has 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD to breeze through different tasks. Workflow can be uninterrupted with the laptop's reported 27-hour 72Wh battery.
For privacy and security, the device is opened with facial recognition. Other handy features include Adaptive Lock and Adaptive Dimming, which locks the laptop when you step away, and adjusts display brightness based on your preference, respectively.
The ASUS Zenbook S 14 is priced at P109,995 and comes bundled with an ASUS laptop sleeve, lifetime Office Home 2024, a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Basic, a one-month membership to Adobe Creative Cloud, and ASUS 4A Quality and Service Package with a two-year International Warranty.
In addition to the sleek PC, ASUS also unveiled other AI-ready laptops including the Vivobook S 14 and Expertbook P5.
