Amazon to premiere its first Filipino original movie 'Sampung Mga Kerida' on Prime Video

It seems that 2022 is a good year for Philippine film industry as it is getting more and more spotlight on international platforms.

Film production company The IdeaFirst Company announced on their official Facebook account that its project Ten Little Mistresses (Sampung Mga Kerida), is set to premiere on Prime Video as the "first Filipino Amazon Original Movie."

Directed by Jun Robles Lana, who previously worked on Die Beautiful and the more recent The Super Praybeyt Benjamin, the film has a star-studded cast that includes the likes of John Arcilla, Eugene Domingo, Christian Bables, Pokwang, Arci Muñoz, Carmi Martin, and Agot Isidro.

The story is of the murder-mystery genre with comedic tones. Ten Little Mistresses (Sampung Mga Kerida) follows a widowed billionaire named Valentin Esposo who has a total of ten mistresses fighting to become his new legal wife. However, after the mega-rich man is discovered dead in a sudden turn of events, the women all end up being the prime suspects of his apparent murder. They must now strive to prove that their hands are clean and find out who the real killer is.

You can watch Ten Little Mistresses on Prime Video in the Philippines starting on Feb. 15 next year. It will also be available to watch on more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
