First look at Macaulay Culkin in 'American Horror Story' Season 10
American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy just shared a first look at actor Macaulay Culkin in the upcoming season of the hit horror anthology series.
The former child actor who rose to fame playing Kevin McCallister in the first two films of the Christmas franchise Home Alone, will be making his AHS debut.
The behind-the-scenes photo shows Culkin standing beside AHS regular Leslie Grossman who starred in the past three seasons and most recently played Margaret Booth in the ninth installment of the series.
“Something wicked this way comes…” Murphy captioned his post on Wednesday (Mar. 10) teasing the 10th season, which sees Culkin and Grossman hanging out on the beach.
While the main theme for American Horror Story Season 10 is still unknown, previous teasers have all shown a beach setting, which is confirmed in the latest teaser photo and poster. Season 10 is reportedly filming under the title Pilgrim.
The previous nine seasons of the series, which have been released during September to October starting in 2011, were titled Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Ronaoke, Cult, Apocalypse and 1984.
Following previous teasers on the beach setting posted by Murphy last year, fans speculated that the latest theme would revolve around ships, cruises, vampires, mermaids, or sirens.
The cast for season 10 will also include fellow AHS regulars Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Adina Porter and Angelica Ross.
The delayed 10th season of American Horror Story is expected to arrive on FX this year along with the spin-off series American Horror Stories which was also teased during the recently held Golden Globe Awards.
“We are doing 16 one hour stand alone episodes delving into horror myths, legends and lore… many of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love,” said Murphy.
