Toy collector Yexel selling Iron Man 'Hall of Armor' for P1.4 million
Looking to bring the magic of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to your home? Toy collector and content creator Yexel Sebastian is currently selling his Iron Man Mark 1 to 7 "Hall of Armor" for a cool P1.4 million.
Sebastian, who owns three toy museums in the Philippines, posted the “For Sale” notice on a Facebook post dated last August 16. He described the seven Iron Man suits as "good as new.”
The 1.4 M price is negotiable, but does not include the display case, which buyers will have to have customized.
Sebastian also offered a finder’s or referral fee of P40,000 to anyone who could secure a sure buyer for the life-sized armor.
In the Iron Man films, the Hall of Armor is the room where Tony Stark stores all versions of his Iron Man suits, either defunct or active, when or after he works on and utilizes them.
Two weeks after it was originally posted, the notice has gotten over 48,000 reactions and 20,000 shares, with many fans posting their own photos from various visits to Yexel’s Toy Museum in the comments section.
While the toy collector did not indicate the reason for the sale, many readers pointed out the need to be practical these days during a global pandemic. Under current IATF guidelines, libraries, museums and cultural centers have not been allowed to operate in areas under General Community Quarantine or GCQ.
In a succeeding comment under the post, the toy collector thanked his 4.7 million Facebook followers who shared their memories and everyone who visited his toy museums over the years.
He expressed the hope that someday, people would be able to enjoy visiting museums again, “Sana po someday eh makapag kita kita po tayo muli. God bless po sa inyo and stay safe. Mahirap po magkasakit sa ngaun kaya doble ingat po kayo.”
