'I have arrived!': Marian Rivera lands in Israel for Miss Universe
Marian Rivera announced on Instagram that she has safely arrived in Israel for the 70th Miss Universe pageant.
The Kapuso actress left the Philippines on Dec. 6 and landed in the pageant's host country on Dec. 7 with her husband Dingdong Dantes and her glam team in tow.
In her Instagram Stories, the celebrity mom posed with Dantes inside an airplane.
She also shared photos of her team, which include manager Tristan Cheng, fashion stylist Melville Sy, hairstylist Vien Nueva, makeup artist Steven Doloso, and Jacqui Cara.
The actress confirmed that she'll serve as one of the judges for Miss Universe on Dec. 3, after speculations started on Dec. 2 when she captioned an image with the word "honored," accompanied by a crown and universe emoji.
"Sobrang happy ako kasi minsan siguro mabigyan ng pagkakatano na mapabilang sa mahalagang okasyon sa mundo. Kaya nung inoffer siya, buong puso ko siya tinanggap,” Rivera said, confirming her judging stint.
Aside from Rivera, the judge's panel will reportedly include Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, Coco Rocha, Tali Eshkoli, Lyrica Ocano, Daniel Rubino, and Filipino-American makeup sensation Patrick Starrr.
The 70th Miss Universe pageant will be held in the Red Sea Resort in Eliat Israel on Dec. 12 (Dec. 13 in Philippine time). Cebu City's Beatrice Luigi Gomez will represent the Philippines at the grand event.
