Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are engaged!
Singers and The Voice judges Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton went Insta-official on their engagement!
The long-time No Doubt lead-singer-turned-solo artist Stefani and country music star Shelton, who have been dating since 2105, both shared on the announcement online.
On their Instagram accounts was a photo of them kissing, with Stefani showing her left hand with an engagement ring on her finger.

“@blakeshelton yes please!” wrote Gwen in her caption. Over at Shelton’s account, he posted the same photo with the caption “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES!”
With the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the United States and the whole world, the couple, with Stefani’s three sons, spent the lockdown at Shelton’s farm in Oklahoma.
Even before the couple went Instagram official with the engagement, rumors have been floating around that they have been engaged or even married. In several interviews, Stefani and Shelton have dodged questions over the matter.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in December 2019, Shelton stirred the conversation even more when he said, “I love the rumors. Those rumors are great. Anybody that thinks I am married to Gwen already, I love it. My God. Who wouldn’t want to be married to Gwen Stefani?”
Just recently, in Stefani’s interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, guest host Dua Lipa inadvertently called Shelton Stefani’s “husband.” “So I heard that you’ve been spending quarantine with your husband Blake Shelton at the ranch in Oklahoma,” Dua said.
Stefani responded, “Uhm, well… he’s not my husband, but that sounded cool when you said it.”

The couple was said to have first met in 2014 when Stefani became one of The Voice Season 9 coaches alongside Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine.
Stefani was married to Bush front man Gavin Rossdale for 14 years and are parents to Kingston, 14; Zuma, 11; and Apollo, six. She filed for divorce in 2015 after discovering Rossdale’s three-year affair with their children’s nanny.
Prior to his relationship with Stefani, Shelton was married twice, first to his long-time girlfriend Kaynette Gern for three years. And second was to country music darling Miranda Lambert for four years. Lambert and Shelton were considered country music’s “It Couple” until their separation followed by a divorce in 2015.
Stefani and Shelton’s bond was forged deeper as the two went through divorce almost the same time, which Stefani shared in an interview with Ryan Seacrest in 2015.
In November 2015, Stefani’s representative confirmed what fans have been speculating about: “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating.”
The couple have since been seen together on the red carpet, being cutesy while being coaches on The Voice, and even collaborated on songs like Nobody But You, which recently won them a CMT Music Award for Collaborative Video of the Year for its music video.
