TRENDING: Cher Calvin enjoys front-row seat of BTS’ performance on the streets of Los Angeles
BTS recently wowed people with an iconic performance on the streets of Los Angeles, California—and a Filipina was among the first to catch it with a front-row seat.
Pinay news anchor Cher Calvin shared a video of her unforgettable experience on Instagram with the caption: “Oh my god BTS!!!!”
In the video, the K-pop group can be seen singing and dancing to the tune of its hit song “Butter” on Beverly Boulevard for James Corden’s “Crosswalk the Musical” segment, with a band member even touching her car at some point. In a separate post, Calvin shared a video of her friend jokingly “verifying” V’s fingerprints on her car.
Her close friends in the Philippines expressed their joy over Calvin’s encounter with BTS. Mo Twister wrote, “So freakin cool!!!” Jackie Forster, meanwhile, called the Crosswalk Series “genius.” For her part, Ruffa Gutierrez left purple heart emojis in the comment section.
In an interview with Filipina TV host Daphne Oseña-Paez, Calvin called it “the craziest thing I’ve ever been through,” adding that it made her a BTS fan for life.
“I was never part of the (BTS) ARMY. I definitely know who they are, I definitely know their songs. I find them adorable but then I guess maybe it was just out of my age group, but no, not anymore. I do not care! I’m a BTS ARMY whatever, everything!” she said.
“I was like, ‘why didn’t I get out?’ I think I was really shocked that this was even possible,” continued Calvin.
“Now, I’m fangirling. Now I think I’m gonna go to every single concert that they’ll ever have everywhere around the world. I’m gonna follow BTS. I’m gonna be that girl,” she added with a laugh.
BTS is composed of seven members namely RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Suga, and V. Their fun performance will be aired on The Late Late Show with James Corden, which is scheduled weeknights at 12:30 a.m. (ET/PT) on CBS.
