'Pitch Perfect 4' is being developed, says Rebel Wilson
Rebel Wilson revealed that a fourth Pitch Perfect movie is in the works.
The actress, in a new interview on BBC Radio 2, hinted at a potential sequel to the musical comedy film—almost seven years since its previous installment hit the big screen.
"Hopefully, there's a fourth one in the works. There is one being developed," she said.
"I mean, I know we're older now, so I don't exactly know what the storyline's going to be," she added. "I guess they've got to get the script right first, which is the age-old dilemma."
Wilson looked back on how she "absolutely loved" being part of Pitch Perfect, saying that she's still in touch with her castmates to this day. "We're all still friends, all of us, girls. They're just so joyful."
"I think what people see on the screen is just us having a laugh. It wasn't really acting because I love singing and dancing, and I just loved hanging out with that cast so, so much. It was really fun," she continued.
Pitch Perfect revolves around The Bellas—an all-girls singing group that takes part in campus competitions. Wilson portrayed the role of the much-loved "Fat Amy" in the films, which were released between 2012 and 2017.
The film series also starred Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, and Anna Camp, among others.
