‘Monet & Friends Alive’ exhibition coming to BGC on Jan. 31
Another immersive experience is coming to BGC!
Monet & Friends Alive – An Immersive Adventure into French Impressionism is set to open at the BGC Arts Center this month, providing art lovers with a “unique and immersive experience awash with vibrant visuals and a stunning musical score."
Monet & Friends Alive puts the spotlight on the masterpieces of Claude Monet and the Impressionists through a stunning combination of light and sound on various art pieces. The exhibit is created and produced by Grande Experiences.
“Breathtaking paintings are projected on an enormous scale with vivid detail to bring back larger than life brushstrokes of Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Cézanne, and more,” the BGC Arts Center said.
Art enthusiasts can also be left in awe of the sights of 19th century Paris from the eyes of Impressionist painters.
Through the exhibit, viewers can become a “part of their world,” with musical score including Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Ravel, and Offenbach elevating the entire experience.
Early bird rate tickets are set to go on sale starting Jan. 13. It will open on Jan. 31. Know more about the exhibit here.
Claude Monet was a French painter who became famous for the Impressionist style, which is characterized by "short, broken brushstrokes that barely convey forms, pure unblended colors, and an emphasis on the effects of light."
