On top of being free to stream, The Kingmaker, an award-winning documentary on Imelda Marcos, is getting dubs in five Filipino languages.
Director Lauren Greenfield announced on Twitter on Thursday, March 24 that the film will be available in Tagalog, Bisaya, Ilocano, and Hiligaynon.

The interviews in the documentary are mainly in English, with some clips in Filipino. Imelda herself, her son Bongbong Marcos, Benigno Aquino III, Vice President Leni Robredo, and martial law victims are featured in the biopic.
Before The Kingmaker was free to view, Greenfield urged streaming platforms to showcase the award-winning film. On March 13, it was finally made widely available to stream for free via YouTube and Vimeo.
The 2019 "damning documentary" gives audiences a glimpse at the controversial story of Marcos family matriarch Imelda, wife of the late ousted dictator Ferdinand Marcos, as well as Bongbong's bid for the vice presidency in 2015.
The Tagalog version of the film is now available to stream on Vimeo, while the Cebuano, Bicol, Ilocano, and Hiligaynon dubs will be available on April 1.
