‘He’s the one!’: Jessy Mendiola says Luis Manzano ‘waited’ for her before proposing

This is what Jessy Mendiola realized when Luis Manzano proposed to her, the actress said in an interview with ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol aired Saturday, December 12.
“The moment na luluhod na siya tapos titignan ka na niya sa mata, and when he finally asks you that question na ‘Will you marry me?’ Hindi ka na makakasalita. I was so shocked,” she said.
Jessy said: “Hindi ako makasalita, but finally, kapag nasuot mo na yung ring, andun na yung feeling na, ito, ito na pala talaga yun, he’s really the one na.”
Jessy and Luis have been together for four years.
The 28-year-old actress also said Luis waited for her to ready before proposing.
“He respected my timeline also,” she said.
Jessy and Luis revealed they were already engaged in October, but chose to keep the news to themselves.
“Ang sarap din kasi na it was between us lang, pero ang sarap din na the whole world is happy for us, so it’s a mix of feelings.” Luis said.
"Everyone is congratulating us. Kahit yung mga hindi namin kilala, naiiyak sila kasi nakita nila ang journey ng relationship namin ever since from the beginning,” Jessy said
The two are planning to hold their wedding next year.
