Harry Roque joins former queens, et al. as MUP 2020 judge
Tomorrow's Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) 2020 coronation takes a slightly different spin from how we do pageants before, and we're not just talking about the pandemic disallowing live audience on location.
People in politics are also making an appearance, not as guests but as finale judges. Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, Congressman Eric Yap, and Baguio First Lady Mrs. Arlene Magalong get to play a crucial role each, to help determine the country's rep who will be eventually sent off to the Miss Universe stage.
"Never thought judging Ms Universe Philippines would be this difficult! The Filipina, simply put, is the best!" Roque, for his part, said on Twitter Friday night.
