WATCH: The kids from 'Everything Has Changed' reunite after 9 years for new Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift song
Remember the cute kids from the music video of the Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swif collab, Everything Has Changed? Well, they're now grown up and still melting our heartstrings!
In the remix version of Sheeran's song The Joker And The Queen from his 2021 album '=" (Equals), former child stars Ava Ames and Jack Lewis have reprised their roles as the young schoolers who flirted in the Everything Has Changed music video from nine years ago.
This time around, they are now budding high schoolers who have seemingly drifted apart, as the new song chronicles a lost love that both the Joker and the Queen yearn for through the years.
The music video follows the two teens as they navigate the same high school halls with a sullen look in their eyes, with the ballad by Sheeran and Swift playing softly in the background.
Unlike the last part of the Everything Has Changed music video though, Sheeran and Swift don't make a cameo as parents. Instead, the unnamed characters of Ames and Lewis reunite in the same suburbs and pick up the conversation they left off almost 10 years ago as kids.
Sheeran announced the remix on Feb. 10 with an Instagram post showcasing Swift's silhouette on a Joker and Queen playing card. The two previously collaborated on the In The Vault song Run from Red (Taylor's Version).
