Kim Seonho’s agency now looking into controversial rumors about actor's past relationship

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha star Kim Seonho has been involved in a controversy where he is being tagged in a viral and anonymous online story about an alleged actor who allegedly forced his ex-girlfriend into having an abortion.

In a report from Soompi, a certain “A,” who introduced herself as “Actor K’s” ex-girlfriend, revealed that she was forced to have an abortion when she was pregnant with his child. She also shared that she was forced to “make the sacrifice” because he’s “working on a project” and “was a star.” 

“A” claimed that “Actor K” is “obsessing over success” and he continued filming commercials after their split. She further revealed that he lied to her about paying “₩900 million (around P38 million) as a penalty fee” to urge her into having an abortion. 

The post became viral on social media, and according to The Korea Herald, the actor is speculated to be Seonho. Despite the allegations, the identity of the actor hasn't been confirmed, as of this writing. 

Salt Entertainment, the actor’s entertainment agency, released a statement following the controversy, as translated by Soompi

“We sincerely apologize for not having been able to issue a quicker response. We are currently checking the factual grounds of the anonymous post. As the facts have not been cleared up yet, we earnestly ask you to wait a bit longer. We apologize for worrying you (about) an unpleasant issue,” the statement read.

Seonho was catapulted into superstardom after starring as Han Jipyeong in Start-Up and Hong Dusik in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
