'Wednesday' beats 'Stranger Things' as the most watched Netflix show in a single week
Netflix's newest show Wednesday has snapped the streaming site's biggest show out of its own single-week record.
A few days after its release, Tim Burton's Wednesday is now the most-watched Netflix show in a single week with 341.2 million hours viewed since its Nov. 23 premiere.
The record was previously held by Stranger Things Season 4 with 335.01M hours viewed.
Although Wednesday is off to a great start during its first week, it still remains to be seen if it will also defeat the overall 1.15 billion hours of watch time that Stranger Things garnered during its first month.
The show is also now #1 in 83 countries, similar to Stranger Things' previous record.
Wednesday now holds the record for most hours viewed in a week for an English-language series on Netflix, with 341.2 MILLION HOURS!

Meanwhile, fans have been raving over the Burton series which sees the classic Wednesday Addams in a 2022 retelling starring Jenna Ortega, Gwendoline Christine, Christina Ricci, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and more.
