Hahn’s Agatha Harkness first appeared in Disney Plus‘ WandaVision, from series creator Jac Schaeffer, and became a fan-favorite breakout character.
WandaVision centered on Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), two superpowered beings living their ideal suburban lives in the town of Westview, NJ, who begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Hahn started out playing the role of Agnes, Wanda and Vision’s nosy neighbor, before it was revealed that she was “Agatha All Along,” a powerful witch who survived the Salem Witch Trials.
According to Marvel, Schaeffer will be returning as head writer and executive producer on the upcoming Harkness spinoff.
The upcoming series is just one of the many announcements the streamer made during their Disney Plus day event.
Other series confirmed for Disney Plus include Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Hawkeye spin-off Echo, Spider-Man: Freshman Year, I Am Groot, Ironheart, Marvel Zombies and Secret Invasion.
