LIST: New Year countdown parties in Metro Manila to welcome 2024 with a bang
While most of us would usually ring in the new year in our homes, others prefer to party elsewhere. And we totally get why! You get as much fun without the mental load of planning (and spending much moolah) by participating in big events.
If you want to try something new other than the usual neighborhood parties, these establishments and local governments around the metro are bring you all kinds of New Year countdowns you like—whether you’re a fan of OPM, drag, or even K-pop!
QC Countdown to 2024
Make your New Year countdown party "unkabogable"! Bring your family and/or friends and spend New Year’s Eve with your favorite OPM bands and comedic acts at the Quezon Memorial Circle.
Headlining the event is comedian and host Vice Ganda. Joining her to bring laughs are Boobay & Tekla, Tuesday Vargas, Allan K, and Uma who will serve as the hosts.
Sing your hearts out to OPM classic hits brought by Mayonnaise, Autotelic, Cueshé, Imago, Orange and Lemons, The Dawn, Tropical Depression, Shamrock, and solo rapper Bassilyo.
Watch the stage shimmer with show-stopping performances by Drag Race Philippines' Precious Paula Nicole, Captivating Katkat, Arizona Brandy, and Bernie. Groups KDolls and DN Powerdance will also join the stage to keep up the hype ‘til the clock strikes 12.
The event will start at 4 p.m. and will be open to everyone. If you cannot make it to the site, you may stream it live via the local government’s official Facebook page.
Eastwood City
Watch all your OPM faves on one stage and join in the fun at Eastwood City’s New Year Countdown which will take place in Eastwood Mall’s open park at 6 p.m.
Hear the iconic whistle of Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon, and get ready to be serenaded by former Up Dharma Down’s vocalist Armi Millare.
P-pop group 1st.One will also grace the stage, as well as OPM bands Sunkissed Lola and Silent Sanctuary. KDLex fans are also in for a holiday treat as loveteam KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad will also bring the fun in welcoming 2024.
The event will be hosted by Janeena Chan and TV presenter Mikee Reyes.
Bonifacio Global City's "NYE at the 5th"
Having a K-pop artist to welcome the new year in the Philippines may seem impossible, but not today. Catch Red Velvet’s Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy at Bonifacio Global City’s “NYE at the 5th" New Year countdown to take place at 5th Avenue, Bonifacio High Street.
Gates will be open at 5 p.m. for the mass, and at 8 p.m. for the main event. The event is free, so you only have to bring your lightsticks and hand banners.
OPM fans will surely welcome 2024 with delight as icons KZ Tandingan, Adie, Zack Tabudlo, and Ely Buendia will also grace the stage.

Makati's "Nostalgia meets the Future"
Makati highlights the best of the best in OPM in their “Nostalgia meets the Future” New Year countdown to take place at the Ayala Avenue and Makati Avenue intersection.
The event will kick off with a DJ pre-show party at 6 p.m. before the amazing performances from OPM icons at 7 p.m.
Catch the OPM Royalty “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, rock band Spongecola, rapper Al James, and P-pop kings SB19.
The stage will also be graced by renowned Pinoy theater artists such as Phi Palmos, MC Dela Cruz, Shaira Rica Avelino Opsimar, and more. The overall event will be directed by Paolo Valenciano and will be hosted by Baus Rufo and Ai Dela Cruz.
