According to The Rock, Black Adam will now be released on Oct. 21, right before Halloween and playing through Thanksgiving and Christmas.

First announced in 2017 and originally planned to appear in 2019’s Shazam!, Johnson’s Black Adam is among the most-awaited movies in the DCEU. Black Adam was originally set to debut in theaters on July 29, 2022.

The animated DC League of Super-Pets, which also stars Johnson as the voice of Krypto the Super-Dog, moves from May 20 to July 29, taking over Black Adam’s original release date.

Both The Flash and Aquaman 2 are being pushed from this year to 2023 amid a number of COVID-induced production delays with visual effects at Warner Bros.

The Flash starring Ezra Miller moves from Nov. 4 to June 23, 2023.

Meanwhile, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom starring Jason Momoa moves from Dec. 16 to March 17, 2023.

Wonka starring Timothee Chalamet has been pushed back from March 17, 2023, closer to a Christmas release date next year on Dec. 15, 2023.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods has moved up from June 2, 2023, also closer to Christmas on Dec. 16, 2022.

Meg 2: The Trench has been set for Aug. 4, 2023.

The studio just returned to a 45-day theatrical window on their event films this year, with the recent release of The Batman.

DC League of Super-Pets follows best friends Krypto the Super-Dog (Johnson) and Superman (John Krasinski), who share the same superpowers and fight crime in Metropolis side by side. Johnson stars along with Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Marc Maron, Thomas Middleditch, Ben Schwartz and Keanu Reeves.

Momoa stars in James Wan’s DC pic Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, with Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Randall Park, Temuera Morrison, Dolph Lundgren and Nicole Kidman also in the cast.

Chalamet plays Willy Wonka in the origin story of Roald Dahl’s classic character—before he opened the world’s most famous chocolate factory. Paul King directs a cast that also includes Olivia Colman, Rakhee Thakrar, Keegan-Michael Key, Rowan Atkinson, Sally Hawkins, Jim Carter and Matt Lucas.

Zachary Levi returns as the DC hero in sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods for helmer David F. Sanberg. The Shazam! sequel continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “Shazam!” is struck by the Living Lightning of the gods and transformed into his adult superhero alter ego. Rachel Zegler, Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, Jack Dylan Grazer, Djimon Hounsou and Asher Angel also star.

Jason Statham also returns for director Ben Wheatley’s megashark sequel Meg 2: The Trench, with Wu Jing, Shuya Sophia Cai, Cliff Curtis, Page Kennedy, Sienna Guillory, Skyler Samuels and Sergio Peris-Mencheta.
