Eraserheads is heading to the big screen!

Warner Bros. Pictures announced that the documentary on the OPM band, titled Eraserheads: Combo on the Run, is set to hit theaters on March 21 to 23.

A trailer for the film was also released, showing how it will tackle the band's impact on pop culture and their eventual breakup. It also chronicles how the band was brought back together in 2022 for a reunion concert in December of that year.

"In 2022, during a time of uncertainty and political upheaval, this disbanded group of punks reunites to provide solace to a nation unknowingly needing healing themselves," the trailer read.

Members Ely Buendia, Marcus Adoro, Raimund Marasigan, and Buddy Zabala then took turns talking about their experience reuniting.

The band, which broke up in 2002, teased about a possible reunion in October 2021 when Buendia said they would make a comeback if former Vice President Leni Robredo ran for president. He later backtracked and said it was a "half-serious" joke when Robredo formalized her bid.

They eventually reunited and performed at a sold-out SMDC Festival Grounds venue. Buendia first teased that there was a documentary in the works in October 2023.

The band came together again in September 2024 to perform at the University Athletic Association of the Philippines' (UAAP) 87th season opening ceremonies.

The Eraserheads were formed in 1989 and released hit albums Ultramagneticpop!, Circus, Cutterpillow, and Fruitcake. They disbanded in 2002 and reunited in 2008 for a concert. They would go on international tours in the 2010s, and after their 2022 reunion, they went on a world tour in 2023 and 2024, performing in the United States, Canada, Dubai, and Singapore.
