SB19, SEVENTEEN's BSS, HORI7ON among additional confirmed acts for 2023 AAA in the PH

The 2023 Asia Artist Awards is getting more and more exciting with additional artists being announced in its official lineup.

Korean media outlet Star News announced on Monday, Sept. 18 that Pinoy acts SB19 and HORI7ON as well as emerging K-pop groups like SEVENTEEN's Boo Seok-soon, ONEUS or One Earth, Kingdom, ATBO, and LUN8 are expected to attend the hotly anticipated event. 

SB19, comprising Pablo, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Josh, debuted in 2018. It went on to become one of the leading P-Pop acts, making waves not only in the Philippines but also overseas.

HORI7ON, meanwhile, debuted via the Korean-Philippine audition show Dream Maker in 2023. Best known for songs like SIX7EEN and DASH, the Filipino boy band consists of Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Leister, Winston, Jerome, and Marcus. It's based in South Korea. 

SEVENTEEN’s special unit Boo Seok-soon, consisting of Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi, is best known for the hit track We Must Fight (feat. Lee Young-ji). They entered the K-pop scene in 2018. 

With members Seoho, Lee Do, Keonhee, Hwanwoong, and Zion, One Earth—also known as ONEUS—has hit songs like LIT and No Diggity. They won the Focus Award at the 2020 edition of the same awards ceremony. 

Kingdom (Dan, Ivan, Arthur, Jahan, Mujin, Louis, and Hwon) is the first idol group from the 4th generation to reach the top spot of the five charts of US Amazon Music. It bagged the Potential Award at the Asia Artist Awards in 2022. 

ATBO, comprising Oh Jun-seok, Ryu Jun-min, Bae Hyun-jun, Seok Rak-won, Jeong Seung-hwan, Kim Yeon-gyu, and Won Bin, debuted in July 2022 with Monochrome (Color). Among their top hits are Next to Me, Attitude, and Warrior.

LUN8 debuted in June this year with its first mini album CONTINUE?. Its members include Jinsu, Kael, Takuma, Junwoo, Dohyun, Ian, Ji Eunho, and Eunseop.

The 2023 Asia Artist Awards will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Dec. 14. It will be hosted by Star News along with Asia Artist Awards Organizing Committee, TONZ Entertainment, and PULP Live World.

The first edition of the awards ceremony took place in 2016. It has since been putting the spotlight on big Asian names who stand out with their projects every year.
