WATCH: Thai actors Dew and Tu star in (G)I-DLE's new video 'I DO: A Love Story in Bangkok'
Chart-topping South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE released a Love Story series, called I DO: A Love Story in Bangkok starring Thai talents ‘Tu’ Tontawan Tantivejakul and ‘Dew’ Jirawat Sutivanisak, popularly known as Dew-Too.
The 3-minute and 43-second video was revealed following the launch of their English language single, I DO. It is also said to be the first of their four love story series.
It shows the blossoming love of a young couple (Dew-Too), who broke up during prom and reunited years after during a chance encounter at a park.
I DO was released on Thursday, July 13 alongside an official music video. It was co-executive produced by 88rising through a new partnership with the group's agency, Cube Entertainment.
It serves as a first taste of the quintet's inaugural entirely English EP, HEAT, which will be released on September 8.
(G)I-DLE is the latest K-pop act to start working with 88rising. The Asian-focused music label has also collaborated with artists including Jackson Wang, BIBI, Chung Ha and more. Elsewhere, (G)I-DLE’s Korean single Queencard was recently named by New Musical Express (NME) as one of the best K-pop songs of 2023.
Dew and Tu are two of the stars of the 2021 romance series, F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers.
