American Murder: The Family Next Door has maintained its number one spot on Netflix’s list of top trending titles in the Philippines.

The true crime documentary tells the story of pregnant Shannan Watts who was killed by her husband Chris Watts, along with their children: 4-year-old Bella and three-year-old Celeste. After having been reported missing by Shannan’s friend, their bodies were later found in oil tanks. The murder took place in Colorado, USA in 2018.

The documentary series talks about Jun Lin, who was murdered by Luka Magnotta: a mysterious man seen killing two kittens in a video. Realizing the online storm he has received because of it, Magnotta then started sharing “ever more disturbing videos, eventually crossing into murder.”

Evil Genius (2018)

The film revolves around a man who robbed a bank with a bomb strapped to his neck one August afternoon in 2003. 'Nuff said.

The Confession Killer (2019)

The docu-series is about Henry Lee Lucas who admitted to a huge number of murders in the 1980s. He, however, was found to have had confusing and contradictory statements by investigators years later. The Confession Killer “explores how the man once called America’s most prolific serial killer was really a complex figure entangled with a flawed justice system.”

Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes (2019)

The film gives viewers a look into the wicked mind of American serial killer Ted Bundy, “in his own words.” He kidnapped, raped, and killed young women and girls in the 70s across seven states, before his execution in 1989.
